![]() Stern Dorsal and Ventral "L" Turrets (x2): Argon Pulse, for the range also and rotation speed, Set to "Defend", So they will shoot to attacking capitals and fighters as well. The Raptor is also such an awesome ship by itself that with Pulse Laser alone it can solo a Xenon K in sector especially if one keeps the ship directly above it (least Gravaton turret coverage).īow Dorsal and Ventral "L" turrets (x4): Argon Plasma, for the range and the sound FX, Set to "Attack Capital Ships" only Thus even with total Pulse Laser loadout it will have full coverage of all targets and can easily solo huge fleets. Raptor can have 100 S ships to cover anti-capital. For player flown Rattlesnakes the best anti-fighter is to use the main batteries to snipe them during strafe runs where they are heading straight towards the bridge. ![]() For Rattlensake I recommend PAR L Plasma and SPL M Flak since their role is mostly anti-large and even with Pulse Laser their small size and low turret count means that in sector their turrets will seldom kill ships. The high projectile speed and range combined with the huge ship size means it is likely that even S ships will get hit fairly regularly and so die quite quickly. They are likely intended as anti S but due to aiming issues they are not effective in this role and pose little threat to S ships in sector.įor Raptors I recommend Pulse Laser. Due to splash damage and in sector double-dipping damage they are very effective against M, L, XL and station targets. Only issue is that Flak probably is not used for the role one thinks it should be. ![]() ![]() Flak are a total disaster, extremely weak and misses way too much.įlak is technically the second highest damage turret, and potentially better than Plasma. ![]()
